Are you a student interested in Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy?
Beeyond Play offers a hands-on volunteer experience in our pediatric private practice. We believe in the importance of giving future therapists opportunities to learn, grow, and explore their passion for helping children thrive.

As a Beeyond Play volunteer, you’ll have the chance to:

• Observe and participate in individual and group occupational therapy sessions
• Work closely with both occupational and speech therapists
• Learn about pediatric clinical operations in a supportive environment
   

This experience is designed to help students develop valuable skills and gain insight into the day-to-day work of pediatric therapists.

• Schedule: 1–2 days per week (Monday–Friday)
• Minimum total hours: 40
• Time blocks: At least 3 hours per visit, to allow you to observe a variety of clients and assist in sessions
   

Volunteers assist with a range of activities, including:

• Observing and participating in therapy sessions
• Organizing and maintaining office spaces (waiting area, kitchen, gym, toys, etc.)
• Assisting therapists in creating therapy materials and completing projects
• Supporting front desk operations: checking in patients, answering phone calls, copying, and scanning documents
   

At the completion of your volunteer experience, you’ll receive validation of your volunteer hours.
